Our association has expanded its goals lately. It has catered for professional needs by experimenting different types of professional meetings, organising seminars; it has also hosted social activities. Horizons expand and this time, some of us would like to embrace those who have worked so much for APIBA and for our profession. Many of us have retired or will retire eventually and we would like to acknowledge the fact that our association has made a great part of our lives. In view of this and hopeful that retired teachers of English fully enjoy this period, we would like to include their expertise, knowledge and the will to spend some time with colleagues.

The aim of APIBA Senior Programme is to give senior members support when needed, socialise with other members by having tea together once a month or by organising interesting outings. We would also like to make use of our members' expertise. This can be done by participating as mentors in the Mentoring Programme, or by carrying out and supporting research, by giving talks for APIBA or carrying out any projects our senior members wish to take part in.
